Providing a Safe Haven for Animals Since 2020.

Wende, Director of Triple H Farm Rescue

“I moved to the farm in January of 2020. Within two months, a dog found his way into my yard and decided to stay. I tried to find his owner, but nobody came forward. I ended up keeping him, and he would be the first of several dogs seen in the area or in my yard. I realized, very soon, that I moved into an area where dogs were abandoned and dumped frequently. I also realized that there was no animal rescue in all of Barry County, Missouri, and only one shelter.

In November of 2020, I founded Triple H Farm Rescue.

The three H's stand for Hashem's Hope and Haven. I wanted to create a place of hope for dogs and a haven for livestock all based on my faith in God.

Mary B, Associate Director of Triple H Farm Rescue

“I got my first rescue dog in 1987, in Minnesota. From then on rescue dogs became part of my life.

Throughout the years, I have had dogs around me—either my own, dog sitting, or dog fostering. About 10 years ago I started fostering for a rescue in Minnesota,
taking in one dog at a time, we saved them from a bad life. I nurtured them, helped them heal, loved them, and, when they were ready, got them adopted. I lost count of how many I fostered.

In 2020, I started volunteering for a rescue transport service called Mobile Mutts Rescue. I was working on a route from Springfield, Missouri to destinations in the northern states.
That is when I met Wende, founder of Triple H Farm Rescue. She was trying to move rescue dogs up north to Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. I added a route to the Mobile Mutts Rescue Transport from Washburn, Missouri to Champaign, Illinois where we would overnight and continue with transport up north. After a few months working together, Wende asked me to be Triple H Farm Rescue Transport Coordinator.

I said yes.

Sadly, we lost both founders of Mobile Mutts Rescue within a few months of each other, and the rescue service disbanded. In 2022, Wende asked me to step up and take on the role of Associate Director, still doing all transport coordinator work as well.
I said yes to that as well.

Jump to today, and we have saved so many dogs, transferring them to rescues in Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan for adoption. I now live in Wisconsin, which surprises people that we work so well together not living in the same location. ”
